✅ WHAT TO EXPECT OF THIS OPTION: 

The most complete tour of Curitiba with the best tour guides. Private itinerary – can be adapted to your tastes and include other places. You will also have a picnic in one of Curitiba's parks. 

🕗 Departure time: 8 am – this way we avoid the heaviest traffic period. You can start at another time if you prefer. 

⌛  Duration: about 9 hours 

📍  Departure location: hotels and central addresses in Curitiba (inform where you will be staying or book your hotel with us) 

 

☑️ WHAT WILL YOU VISIT?

Here are the attractions planned on the tour. The itinerary can be adapted to your tastes! 

If one is closed, our guide will include another amazing place: 

8:00 - Pick up in central hotels and adresses

Walking tour in the Old Town (Largo da Ordem) - about 1 hour

  • Rua da Flores (pedestrian area)
  • Paço da Liberdade: former city hall
  • Tiradentes Square: where the city began and the Cathedral is located
  • Largo da Ordem: two important churches, Garibaldi society and the flowers clock.

End of the walking tour and back to the van or car:

  • Panoramic tour in the downtown area: Santos Andrade Square with the historical university building and Guaíra Theater, 24 Hours gallery, Curitiba´s first park - Passeio Público and Square 19 December.

Then the tour will procede with stops:

  • Botanical Garden: the most visited place with its manicured gardens and gallery
  • Oscar Niemeyer Museum (external visit): famous “Eye Museum” due to its imposing and modern architecture
  • John Paulo II Woods also called Pope´s Woods in honor to the Polish immigration in Paraná - it is an open air museum
  • Santa Felicidade Neighborhood: traditional for Italian immigration, the neighborhood is a gastronomic region of the city. It also includes a stop at Adega Durigan for you to taste the wines made in the neighborhood and other colonial delicacies. 
  • Picnic in one of the parks with sandwiches, pastries, fruit and water. Inform us if you have any food restrictions when you make the reservation and we will do our best to meet your needs.
  • Bosque Zaninelli: an old quarry with rooms for various courses focused on sustainability and also the place where the legendary Pirate Zulmiro lived for many years.
  • Bosque Alemão: trail through native forest with the story of Hansel and Gretel, a classic by the Brothers Grimm. 
  • Tingui Park: a linear park where the Ukranian memorial is located
  • Wire Opera House *: another must-visit place. The glass and metal theater was built on the lake of a former quarry. There is also a café and live music (it closes on Monday and on events day).
  • Tanguá Park: impressive with its views and artificial waterfall in a former quarry.
