☑️ WHAT WILL YOU VISIT?

This itinerary has two versions and can be adapted to your preferences:

Option A: departure at 8:30 am – Holocaust Museum, Museum of Indigenous Art, “jaguar meat” as an appetizer in a typical Curitiba bar, Palacete dos Leões, Barigui Park, Schonstatt Sanctuary and ends in a pastry shop with a panoramic view of the city

Option B: departure at 9:30 am – Egyptian Museum, Museum of Indigenous Art, “jaguar meat” as an appetizer in a typical Curitiba bar, Palacete dos Leões, Barigui Park, Schonstatt Sanctuary and ends in a pastry shop with a panoramic view of the city

– Museu do Holocausto: the only one in Brazil to portray this episode in our recent history in a very touching way. Visits are by appointment only and permitted from 12 years of age. OU Museu Egípcio (Rosa Cruz). This unusual museum is inside the temple of the Order of the Rose Cross, a philosophical institution that has its Brazilian headquarters in Curitiba. You can also visit the Golden Boy Museum: Tutankhamon, that reproduces the tomb of the most famous Egyptian king.

– Museu de Arte Indígena: this private collection is one of the biggest surprises on the tour. It is a true journey through art and ritualistic and utilitarian objects from different indigenous peoples of the country. 

– A stop for lunch will be in a nostalgic place, a former grocery store. There you will try the local appetizer "Carne de Onça", uma iguaria curitibana (parecida com o steak tartare francês). O prato será montado na sua frente e você poderá repetir a receita na sua casa.  Mas tranquilo, não tem nada de “onça” real na receita. É preparado com carne bovina. O local tem pratos bem servidos com preços camaradas para seu almoço (opcional)

– O Palacete dos Leões (Lions Mansion) is the next stop. You will learn more about the richness of yerba mate in the most iconic residence of the Leão Family. A dive into the history of Curitiba at the time when yerba mate brought wealth to our region.

– Barigui Park: walk a little through the largest park in Curitiba, a place for leisure and events in the city. 

– Santuário Schonstatt: breathe the fresh air in a place of peace and reflection amidst the native forest in a residential region of Curitiba.

- End of the tour panoramic view of Curitiba in a charming and little-known location on the 40th floor of a commercial building. Confeitaria Curitibana has a unique atmosphere and serves a variety of sweets and snacks, some of them honoring iconic places in Curitiba.
