☑️ HOW IS THIS TOUR LIKE?

Incredible places on a full-day itinerary for you. Check out everything you will know:

Enjoy the landscapes along the way and observe the differences between the Curitiba and Campos Gerais regions. It is 90 km to Parque Vila Velha from Curitiba. See what the force of nature built in a process that took 300 million years!

. Visit the sandstones with its interesting forms and let your imagination fly! In the first part you will see the sandstones up to the famous “cup” – up there it is very peaceful, accessible for all ages. If you want, you can continue walking in a slightly more challenging part (there are stairs) to reach the other side of the sandstones, which is wetter and cooler.

. See the calm waters of Lagoa Dourada (Golden Pond)which is an old cave that is already in a very advanced process of shoring.

. Also visit Furnascavities that can reach up to 100 meters in diameter: an impressive scene. Some Furnas contain water and in one of them a type of lambari that only exists in this location.

. Then it's time to head to Carambeí – it's another 48 km. Time for lunch (optional) at the Koffiehuis, at the entrance to the historic park. There are snacks, a buffet, Dutch and Indonesian specialties and delicious pies. We recommend you try the “bitterballen” – Dutch meat dumplings. The pies are irresistible too!

. Get amazed by Historical Park of CarambeíIt is the largest open-air historical museum in Brazil! There you will learn about Dutch immigration when they arrived in Paraná and their lifestyle at the beginning of the 20th century.

. Next stop is Castrolanda, Brazil´s milk capital city. Iti s located 32 km from Carambeí. You will visit the Windmill, one of the largest in the world outside the Netherlands. The internal visit is super complete and you will learn more about the history of the immigrants who came here and how the windmill works. Access is via stairs only. If the Castrolanda Memorial is closed, external visitation.

. If you wish, the last stop is at Frederika´s, a charming café with many delicious pies! If it is crowded, we might stop at Oma Nísia, smaller and cozy.
