✅ WHAT TO EXPECT OF THE TOUR:

  • You will have round trip transfers from central hotels or adresses in Curitiba from 8 am. If you prefer, you can go directly to the Rail Station by your own. Let us know where you will be staying or book your hotel with us! 
  • Make one of the most famous rail tours in the world from Curitiba to Morretes in the Luxury category! There are 3 different carriages with air-conditioning (windows do not open), different snacks, a welcome glass of sparkling wine and other unlimited drinks. Train departure at 9:30 am and estimated time of arrival is 1 pm. Usually the train stops at Santuário do Cadeado. 
  • Regional lunch in Morretes or Antonina: “barreado”: ​​beef stew served with rice, cassava flour and bananas, salad, fish and shrimp, all separately. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know when booking.
  • Walk by Morretes and then visit Antonina by van. They are two historic cities with houses and typical products, such as cachaça, banana candy and local handicrafts.
  • Return to Curitiba by van or mini-bus via Estrada da Graciosa or BR-277, depending on weather conditions and the highway. Arrival scheduled at 5:30 pm.

ABOUT THE LUXURY CLASS 🚃 

‒ Copacabana and Foz: traditional and refined decoration, with capacity for up to 23 people each.

‒ Curitiba: the newest luxury car, with a clean and elegant decoration and capacity for up to 40 people.

The three carriages have air-conditioning, on-board service with a differentiated snack, 1 welcome glass of sparkling wine, unlimited drinks and a bilingual Portuguese-English guide. The drinks included are: coffee, tea, juices, water, soft drinks and beer. Windows do not open.

For logistical reasons and the fact that each car has a unique decoration, it is not possible to choose a specific car. You can inform your preference, but we cannot guarantee that your seat will be in this carriage on the day of the tour. Reservations are made in sequential order and wagons will be used according to demand and technical availability.

On high season departure days, the luxury train leaves one hour after the normal train. Boarding in Curitiba will be calmer and there is usually a stop at Santuário do Cadeado.

Normal departure time: vans stop by between 8 and 8:45 AM at hotels and central addresses in Curitiba. Be ready by 8 AM, please. The tour ends in Curitiba about 5:30 PM

Transport by van or shared microbus (with other tourists) with hotel pick up or central address;

9h30 – até aprox. 13h00 – Passeio no trem de luxo com lanche e bebidas a bordo;

Typical lunch in Morretes or Antonina (barreado - beef stew typical of the region and side dishes: fish, shrimp, rice and salad);

Tour in Morretes and Antonina;

Return via Estrada da Graciosa or BR-277, depending on weather and road conditions.

Not included: drinks and desserts at lunch, personal expenses, tips, etc.

This tour is fully operated by Serra Verde Express. Depending on the opening hours and traffic, the guide might or might not stop at a bananas candy shop and at Estrada da Graciosa. Ask the guide for details in the tour day. 

Are you traveling with kids or teenagers? Brazilian law demands that you bring original documents. In case of foreigners, please bring passport. For Brazilian citizens: kids up to 12 years old are allowed to travel with birth certificates. For elder children and teenagers, ID or passport are accepted. Children up to 16 years old are allowed to travel only with parents or documented travel guardians. Avold problems and bring the correct documents to board.
